Lanvin is a well-known high fashion house, that was founded in France, by Jeanne-Marie Lanvin, in 1889. It is the third oldest French fashion house still in operation. Designer Jeanne-Marie Lanvin was a milliner and a dressmaker in Paris who entered the fashion world when she started creating clothes for her daughter. After her clothes were loved by the public, she expanded into home decor products, menswear, furs, lingerie and perfumes. The first perfume was released by Lanvin in 1960.
